Irritated, inflamed skin can be uncomfortable and frustrating, especially when it keeps coming back. At Jacquelyn's Med Spa, we use a gentle Aerolase Neo Elite laser to help calm inflammation as part of a thoughtful plan for your skin. We'll talk through your history and your goals, and give you honest expectations before you begin.

Who It's For

This treatment may be a great fit if you have:

Ingrown hairs or razor bumps that keep coming back
Irritated, inflamed skin after shaving or hair removal
Psoriasis plaques, redness and inflammation that you want extra support with

We'll confirm at your consultation whether laser is right for you.

Psoriasis is a chronic condition that is best managed with your doctor. Laser is not a cure and is not a substitute for medical care. If you have psoriasis or another medical skin condition, please check with your doctor before treatment.

How It Works

Aerolase Neo Elite is a gentle 1064nm laser. Its light energy works beneath the surface of the skin to help calm inflammation.

Ingrown hairs and razor bumps: the laser also targets the hair follicle, which helps reduce the inflammation that causes ingrown hairs and razor bumps to flare up. It may help break the cycle of irritation over a series of treatments.

Psoriasis: the laser helps reduce inflammation, redness and plaques in the treated area. Psoriasis is a long-term condition that can flare and calm over time, so laser is not a cure, results vary, and some clients may need maintenance treatments.

What to Expect

Consultation first

We start by looking at your skin and talking through your goals and health history, so we can recommend the right plan. You can book your consultation and first treatment on the same day.

Comfort

Most clients find Aerolase Neo Elite very tolerable. Many describe a warming sensation during the treatment.

No downtime

You may have mild redness for a short time afterward, and many clients return to normal activities the same day.

A plan for you

The number of treatments depends on your skin and goals. A series is usually recommended for the best results, and your esthetician will recommend what makes sense for you. Results vary.

Want to treat other concerns, too? Additional areas and concerns can often be treated in the same session. Just ask at your consultation.
